Default Supermarine S6B

In the 1930s this aircraft was built for the famous Schneider Cup races. This was the lasts in the line of Supermarines built for the races. This aircarft was the predecessor for the famous Spitfire. The races greatly boosted aircraft desings. Without them world war II could have had a much different outcome. So in second life I had built the Curtiss RC3-2 and decided another one of the planes was needed. I have gone back and reworked the RC3-2 since I have gotten better with AC3D. Here is the Supermarine.

Can I suggest something to you as your aircraft models are so good. I use a flight sim called flightgear and they are crying out for modellers like you, you would be a great asset to the FG community

Hi Simon. Thanks for the compliment. I'll look into the progam and take a look at it . Who knows maybe I can build them a few aircraft.
