Default Re: Disable Sorting in the Hierarchy Window

OK - this replacement hierarchy script supports automatic scrolling whilst dragging hierarchy stuff above or below the window. Please try it and let me know if it works for you.

Will work on all platforms. Replace your existing ac3dhier.tcl file in the tcl folder with this (you may want to rename the original file so you can put it back later).

Note that it does not add any other new features being discussed in this thread since they require a new binary/platform specific release and cannot be implemented in scripts.

Automatic scrolling should become active when reaching the edge of the display area of the window and not the window frame.

First I thought, scrolling down isn't working, because I reached the lower end of the hierarchy and nothing happened.

It's also not compatible with the mouse-wheel scrolling.

OK - try this one. This will scroll when you reach the bottom.

Scrollbar is now the same length of the scroll area. Also moved the selection-info bar to the top, which seems more logical since it's now near the selection buttons.

Snow - Please explain what you mean with the scroll-wheel problem.

This is working fine so far, but the mouse wheel scrolling is messed up.
To reproduce, scroll with the mouse wheel in a new, empty project.

Glad it helps.

I think the mousewheel scrolling may have done that in the original but I'll look into it.

No, I already tested it with the original file - and there it worked right.
