I can't get an image using the clipboard. If I try the clipboard contains just a black bitmap. The size is ok, but there is nothing in it.

I have the same results, but the image is just grey. Seems to definately be a Vista problem.

ok since you are posting here too, tried it again with using windows paint to paste to. It seems to work for me, as I stated in the other post am using Vista 32-bit on a x64 AMD w/2GB mem. So don't think it is a vista problem, mayhaps a physical memory problem.

Could be but I think not... I wonder if my use of an ATI card, when so many others have gone the nVidia way, might play into it?
I apologize on the cross-post... I probably should have stuck to one thread. I will point out that a physical memory problem is not likely when several people have the same problem in the same fashion. I know from experience with other software that ATI does not produce the best OpenGL implementation in their drivers. |

But see there too I have an ATI Radeon in this box too. So I am lost to this problem.

When you use the windows snipping tool, it seems to work. So I switched to use that instead. It's pretty handy anyway.
