ok, it has been like half a year since i used AC3D and i have forgotten some things and the new version has obviously changed a lot of things.
first of all, how do u set a backgroudn image? shouldnt that be in the View-menu? secondly, is there any way to use the old controls for the 3D window? ie, not having to holt down alt to rotate. and um.. i cant seem to figure out how to extrude a surface into more than one additional layer anymore. i think thats about it. help would be very apreciated ![]() |

With AC3D 5, the background image controls are now the Orth menu at the top of each view window.
As you can now select and manipulate in the 3D views, you need to either hold down alt or use the controls at the top of the 3D views to spin or fly/walk. Extruding into multiple sections must be done manually (complete the extrude fields then press the 'extrude by distance button' or by using the replicator. |

To rotate without hold down alt go to settings, advanced and put a tick in "nav select"
