Mystic Offshore power boat
Ok I know I havent been around much but I have been busy building lots of nice things for Second Life. here is one of the new boats. It is the Mystic 5000-R. I decided to replicate it for second life. Its is one awesome twin turbine jet powered offshore racer.
This is the famous Aqua Mania. I thought it would be a great boat to kick off this design in second life. Once we did some improvements and a few other paint jobs I decided that building the S vertion would be fun too. In real life only the concept drawings and 3d computer models by mystic were out. Not a whole lot of reverecen photos to go by so had to kind of design our own areas of the interior in places to fit. We did pretty good. We have had several custom orders of this design in seconld life as well. Here is one we did for a customer. As always ever single sculpted part of these beauties was done using AC3D. I basically build the model parts I need and then import them into SL. There I assemble the boats. Script them and add sounds and animations. I have an awesome team and we have gotten pretty good at the builds. |
