Well alot of trial and error.I mean that I never use drawings or a scanner for my models.I just click here and extrude there, it`s like I have an idea in my head of what I want the model to look like. So I just continue the process until it looks and feel right to me.I hope that helps some,i`m sorry that I couldn`t give you a better explanation.Thanks MILT37

I do that a lot too. I know what you mean by "it feels right".
