Default Pollys Please

I triangulated all of my pollys and went to model info. Here is the output:

Group "WORLD", v 0, s 0, kids 2
Object "ellipse", v 200, s 361, kids 0 [subdivided (1) v 1120, s 1081] *
Object "block", v 386, s 688, kids 0 [subdivided (1) v 2162, s 2128] *

Total objects: 3 surfaces: 1049 vertices: 586

How to read this? I would like to know my poly count when subdivided. Do i Just count the number of surfaces or I count verticies too?

Thanks...

The polycount is the number of surfaces in your model.
So in your case it's 1081 + 2128.

Will making them 1 sided cut the polly count in half? To do this, I think you select the surface from the side you want to view it, and select 1s. Right?

Thanks

No, making them one sided wont cut the polycount in half.
And yes, to have a polygon (surface) 1 sided you have to clik on the "1S" at the bottom of the AC3D window.

you may already know this, but if a one sided surface is not visible from the side you want, you can go to surface>flip normal to get it to appear on the opposite side.
