In the 3D window, if you're in spin mode (as opposed to walk), just hold down the left mouse button and rotate to your heart's content.
Use the center mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Not the 3d view window...
I need to be able to rotate the other windows...either that or I need to be able to edit in the 3d view window.

The 2D views are fixed on the current release. Suggest you spin the 3D view and control-select in the 3D window. Switch to wireframe and move/size in the 2D views.
Alternatively, put 180 in a rotate field on the control panal and press rotate to flip the whole model. Andy |

-The 2D views are fixed on the current release.
??? I thought I downloaded the current release? Isn't that what's on the download link here? -Suggest you spin the 3D view and control-select in the 3D window. -Switch to wireframe and move/size in the 2D views. didn't know you could do that. the help function in my ac3d gives me an error and so I have nothing to go on other than what I sorta stumble across. -Alternatively, put 180 in a rotate field on the control panal and press -rotate to flip the whole model. I'll try both the suggestions. where can I get the release with the fixed 2d views? |

The views cannot be changed in the current release (which you have) i.e. front, left, top. This is will be configurable in the next release.
That's why you'll have to use the other suggestions. When you have the next version, it will be easy to quickly switch a view to see the 'other sides' of a model. What's the help error you are getting? Andy |
