Default AC3D8.0.21: what's wrong?

Ciao to everybody,
I have a problem with the new Ac3D 8.0.21 running on OS X 10.10.5 installed on a Mac Pro 2013. If I try to open a .obj file the result is a message telling that there is no geometry importer for such a file (see image 1). The similar error appears if I try to load a texture .png file (image 2). The X-Plane plugins are the last one (3.3b2).
I'm very surprised for such problems (all the previous versions of AC3D had always worked perfectly) and don't know what to think. I have looked for for some update with no success.
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Paolo

Looks like the plugins haven't loaded - check menu Help->About-plugins.

Also, when AC3D first starts, it displays the number of plugins loaded (and the number of any that fail at the bottom of the main window). You need to be quick to spot it.

If the trial-time has timed out, and you've not entered you license key, no plugins will be loaded.

All the plugins are loaded correctly (see list) and the license key has been entered. But the problems remain.

How are you starting AC3D?

Are you clicking on a model file or dragging one onto the app? If so, I think I know what the problem is.

Usually I click on the file but the problem rises also dragging onto the app.

Ok thanks. The Apple-event to open the file is arriving before the plugins are loaded.

Until a fix is released, start AC3D first and load or drag & drop files (don't start AC3D by clicking on an icon or dragging onto the app icon.

Importing a .obj file works following your tip but exporting a XPlane8 .obj file makes the app crash..

I had ac3dxplanemac33b2 and did not know that the b3 was ready. Now exporting a .obj file works right and loads also the texture. I'll wait for the fix.
