Key-Install / 2-license-Keys - QUESTION

Hi there.

I bought my double-license this weekend (AC3D is a very nice modeller

).
One license is running at home on my work-PC, the other one will be installed in my office.

The office-PC is clean (fresh installed this year), but my home-PC is a bitch at the moment

After installing lots of different graphic cards from ATI and NVidia, the color-management with my XRite doesnt work anymore. So I have to re-install the OS soon (I say this for a couple of months now

... oh that damned backup).
Well.... I couldn't wait to install AC3D with my bought key, but what happens, when I insert it once again and at office it's running too?

Is there an online check, how often the key was installed?
Is the MAC-adress saved?
Will it work this third time?

Oh and: no worry.... I don't want / need to install it on 3 PC's
