Unhappy Percise Snapping

I am using the snap to grid feature and I have run across a bit of oddness and not sure if its a setting Im missing or something is not right with the program or it has to do with the different views.

I used the top viewport to lay out the floorplan of this house below. Then I went to left view (snapping on) to raise the walls. As you can see they are uneven at the top, they should all snap to the same point shouldn't they?

Thank you for the help.

If all your top vertices were aligned before you raised the walls, then yes, otherwise no.

Cool Re: Percise Snapping

Also, if this happens, you can level them all by using "vertex button" then using the little triangles of the sizing box compress the vertex into a level line then using the middle of the sizing box and the Ctrl keypress, move them to where they should be.
I hope this explanation is clear enough.
