Default AC3D future upgrades?

this program is indeed very promising, but ive just been wondering, since this is like the 1st version (version 1.0) will it continue to grow to be like or better than expensive programs like 3dsmax 6? and since the price is so low, buying it now would be better, so that i can just upgrade to new releases for free, instead of buying this program like 2 years later when its as powerful or more powerfull than programs like 3dsmax6 and lightwave and cost a fourtune.

First version?

This is v4 (+).

It's been evolving and growing since the glory days of the Amiga. I would doubt that (for the forseeable future) it would have the full scope of programs like 3DStudioMAX or Maya, but I do see it continuing to grow to provide the functionality that most people actually use and need.

I don't think the 'unlimited free upgrades' policy has been in effect for close to a year, though.

Confused,
