I'm with Toronto, this is way too dark. AO only should use the full dynamic range of the image. In my testing the generated TGA images are 24 bits per pixel, yet there are only 64 unique colors (according to IrfanView).

Yep I believe this plugin is broken.
Normally with other software (Blender/3DSMax) when you add lights to the scene you dramatically effect the ambient occlusion map generated.
Not so here.
Something is not right with this plugin as textures that get generated are far too dark and are not useable as a shade layer in a template.
Even lightening them up (or brightening) the generated AO textures in photoshop does not render them useable.
Its like trying to fix a higly overexposed negative, or like fixing a digital picture taken at night and trying to make it look like daylight (fail).
You can try improve the texture but its not of much use.

Lisa hasn't been around this forum for years so she's not available to fix it.
And there don't seem to be many programmers in this community.
