Texturing problems
Hello all,
Merry Xmas... Anyways, I am trying to texture a can. I am very new at doing texturing in AC3D. Check out the attached .jpg. How do I get the top an bottom of my can in the Texture Coordinator? ( I got the front!) How do I get the texture not to reverse itself as it wraps around the can the second time? (see picture) (should I just repeat my texture in my .jpg?) Thanks all, Grease |

Re: Texturing problems
Well, as quick as I posted my question, I think I figured it out.
I just pick the surfaces I want textured while the texture coordinator is up and apply the textures to the surfaces that I picked in AC3D. Is that the correct way, did I make any sense? Still working on the reverse repeated texture, though... Merry Xmas! |

Re: Texturing problems
I believe I figured it all out...
Just playing around with the program.. What I did was just picked the front faces of the can and applied the label. Then, I picked all the back faces and applied the label again, I had to flip it, though, to correct the reverse. This Bud's for you! Cool... GREAT program! Grease P.s. What I do is export my model into Papakura and make a true 3D paper model... |
