Default Offroad Tires

Made this a while ago after getting a few pms from members on Rigs of Rods and figured I would share it here as well.

Default Re: Offroad Tires

I understand this in principle, but the tutorial really skimps on the part that I don't "get".

How do you use the replicator to arrange the extruded bits around the circumference of the tire AND at the proper right angles to protrude from it?

I'd like to see some detail added on that.

Even better, though: I wonder if there is a way to create the flat face of the tread from a rectangle, use the Knife to describe the tread pattern, make the tread face wrap around a circle, and then extrude the faces outward, all at the same time (or in "depth groupings")?
