Default loop cut

giving Ac3d a test drive. just now opened it up.
Will have lots of questions. I am coming from another modeling app. I hope my terminology is understandable.
How do i make a loop cut.
Can i control the number of cuts in a single action or do i I have to repeat the same process to make more cuts. eg. a cylinder

Default Re: loop cut

You can either set the number of segments the cylinder has when you create it...

You can set the number of additional segments when you select an end and extrude it....

or you can use the Knife tool along with a rectangle or other primitive to place cuts where you want them.

There is no "loop cut" in the Blender sense in AC3D.
