Default Google Sketchup

I recently wrote a series of tutorials specifically for educators who don't have time to learn the art of texture mapping, but who still want to have their students do some cool things with Alice 2.2.

Two of these tutorials involve AC3D to take models from a variety of solid modeling software and get them into Mudbox for painting and texturing. The main reason that I thought it might be of interest to this forum is that I have seen some posts here desiring a method of exporting Google Sketchup models into other programs. If there exists an easier method for taking Google Sketchup models and importing them into other programs (apart from paying for the Pro version of Sketchup), I would love to hear about it.

Thanks,
