Default how I can make a glass effetc

hi for every one

as I said befor I'm a biggner in using AC3D .... I'm crazy in 3d world
and I want some help

how i can make a glass effect .....

just change the transparency?? ........ there is no other professional way that let it appear more reality like 3Dmax does?

AC3D needs an stand-alone rendering program to render realistic images. Many people here seem to use POV-Ray (with or without PoseRay) or Bryce. In addition to POV-Ray, I also use Poser's Firefly renderer myself.

EDIT: I believe AC3D comes pre-configured for POV-Ray.
