Well, you have another sky, and you havent smoothed the glas from what I see, but other then that its pretty much the same I think. About the smoothing in Bryce. It imports all 3ds files whithout any, so you need to set it yourself.

Just select the model and click the E or the terrain. Then set the crease and click the smoot sphere.

The sky presets are located under the little triangle next to Sky&fog. Click it and you get this window.

You will get more help in a proper Bryce forum, like on Renderosity. The Bryce community there are of the best yet.

yeah, that smoothing helped a lot, thanks

how did you get that color tint to it?

I figured if I ended up using bryce for rendering, then I'd join there forum for help rendering.

I wasn't looking to copy exactly what you had, just trying to get the hang of it

Well, that may be of the different sky I use. Also I used a light glas preset with low refraction. Just play around with it. Bryce is actually fun to use if you get to know it

neat, thanks. I didn't even know there were presets. If it wasn't for you telling me, I probably never would have found that little arrow. I was just playing around with the sliders trying to get it right.
