here is the ac3d file and texture, just in case its of any use im sending both files before saving in ac3d 6.7 with newer plug in, and after as well, but they both have the same problem:

Not sure, do your textures need to be square powers of two?

eg 1024 x 1024 instead of 1404 x 1195

i think it may be working now, 2048x2048 is not allowed in the objects folder right? it seems 1024x1024 may be working.

Michael,
2048x2048 is allowed (even 4096x4096 does work).
The max. texture size depends on your display card. If you open 'log.txt' in your x-plane folder and search for 'max texture size' it will tell you the maximum suported size in pixels.
Mine says 'max texture size : 8192'.

I changed the canvas size of your example to 2048px x 2048px and scaled the UV maps accordingly and everything seems to work nicely. If you like I can email it to you.

cheers
Peter
