Default Can't import cockpit.obj

New to Ac3d, and trying to use the 64 bit beta version, 8.3.2.1 from the download page. I'm using X-Plane plugin "X-Plane plugins for AC3D 8.3 (3.4b1)", that's listed for the 64 bit version, and it will not import "any" obj file from X-plane 11. Not sure what the (3.4b1) is referring to with regards to the plugin, perhaps that's the issue? Is there a beta version 3.4b1 of Ac3d somewhere, that I don't have access to?

I was using/trying the 32bit version, 8.0, and it works fine with "X-Plane plugin (3.3b3)".

All I see when I try to import is a blue square/box in all 4 views.

Operating system is latest/up to date, Win 10.

Edit: I'm able to work around it I guess. I have 2 versions of Ac3d installed, import the X-plane obj's I want into version 8.0.80, save as a ac file, then open that ac file in version 8.3.2.1.

Nobody? Am I the only one having this issue, or is everyone else using the 32 bit version?

There may be a collision with the wavefront obj plugin (which also handles .obj files).

move plugins/obj_import.p out of the plugins (or rename it to a different fiel extension e.g. obj_import.p.old) and restart AC3D.

Let us know if this fixes the problem.

Thank you very much Andy, that worked perfectly.
