Default Quarter circle again

http://www.tomah.com/delliott/radius.gif
This is what I meant, meaning how does one draw a quarter of a circle, connect two lines to it, box it and extrude, like the example in the drawing above.

Thanks but...Do you mean I must plot a radius? I was thinking of developing a accurate radius and connecting dead straight lines to it. I do know how to develop polygon shapes but that is not what I am after. Imagine a quarter circle with lines attached to it.

Ok take a elipse and delete the remainder, draw a polyline and snap n weld the end vertex to the end v of the quarter ellipse. Select as objects and merge then extrude.
Or am I missing your point again?

This all sounds easy, but I have also tried to duplicate requested form, with only mixed results, I get extra surfaces that I can not get rid of. Does some one have a demonstatable and working solution for his exact form?

It's not possible to chop up lines and then stick them together.

The best way to do this is to make shapes e.g. ellipses and lines, remove the surfaces (leaving the vertices), select the vertices in the correct order (paint select is a help here), then create a single surface for your profile - ready for extruding.

Andy, Because this is a "concaved" outline is this even posable using the method you suggested?

Would "stick them together" (ie, lines) be something that could be done in a plugin?

Thanks for you insight!

This will probably either help you or greatly confuse the issue:

Hope it helps
