Here's my first attempt to do some real AC3D work-

The indents (where the fabric stretches over the frame) is actually 2D for 3D- I did it with the texture. I plan to eventually put it in a Fight Sim (Targetware) so I need to keep polys to a reasonable level. This one is about 3,400. Here is the plane without the texture:

I'm new, so I may resurrect a couple threads.

I'm comparing the two pics (yours and the real) and I'm having trouble finding anything constructively criticize. I'm a big flight sim player, especially WWII combat flight sims, I love em!

Your work is awesome!

ADDENDUM:

Constructive criticism:

I think the prop might be a bit small. The struts on the landing gear a bit too thin, other than that, see the third paragraph above.

Thanks, I'll re-check the prop.

Yes, the struts do look odd. This is because they are not compressed in the picture- they are in the position they would be in when airborne. This will be fixed when I get around to writing the animation code and actually flying it. Good call.
