Default New member, some of my Ac3d models (mostly trucks)

picture rant, lol

I just now found the forum. I've been using ac3d for about 2 years, really getting better in the last 8 months or so. I use it to make vehicles for a game called Rigs of Rods. Using the Ogre exporter to export to .mesh files. The game has a feature called flexbody which lets the model be damaged based on a node/beam skeleton under it. It's addicting to make vehicles for it.

Well, here's a few of my creations from scratch in ac3d. I have to keep the poly count as low as possible to keep good performance in the game for slow computer users. Everything on these vehicles I made in ac3d, from the body to tires.

I really wish Ac3d had built in rendering. Thats the only reason I have blender also. So I have something to ambient occlusion render my model to a texture. Other than that, Ac3d is where its at, simple and very powerful.
