Default Help on getting a "glassy" look

Hi, I need some help on getting a glassy or shiny look for my star wars vehicle i'm building.

What exactly do you mean?
Something like a "glassy" window? If yes, then check at the color palete, select a color -> right click on it -> edit material -> transparency.

Or you can download POV-ray and render it and at the texture of the object type example:

texture {T_Glass4}




note:make shure you wirte at the top: #include "glass.inc"

sorry. i should have made a better description. i mean like a marble kind of glassy.

Default Hmmm

try using a phong highlight in povray
this will give a glossy look like a nice waxed floor
some textures integrated into pov will have there own setting heres a link to a povray texture library
http://texlib.povray.org/index.html
all these will be used like this
texture { texture name }
and there is a tut for povray textures and stuff related to what u want on this forum
