how to make the back part stay at level to the front part except when the front part
how to make the back part of the elevator stay at level to the front part of the elevator except when the front part is going down?
the L-1011 tristar has an extremely unusual elevator design, here is a diagram that a retired L-1011 pilot made for me and a photo. im trying to figure out how to do this, i have a feeling there is a way but i just dont know enough about ac3d. i have ac3d 8.0.21 but i like to use 6.7.15a because im used to it and it has some differences that i like. on the bottom of the page is a zipfile containing the .ac files of my last two tries please try them out: thanks Last edited by Michael Wilson; 2nd October 2017 at 04:47 PM. |

Hey Mike,
simply add a zero pitch step to your animation between full deflection positive and negative. Make sure the trailing edge part has angle '0' from -1 to 0 . See my screenshot for how it should look like. cheers peter Quote:
