Default 3d jargon

As I go around talking to people in different forums, they mention stuff like mesh, spline, nurbs and etc. I have no clue what they are talking about, so I was curious is their a good place to read up on 3d terms

Default Re: 3d jargon

all are words i use with 3D max (which i hardly ever use) Mesh is really just the model. Nurbs and Spline are different types of models or modeling in MAX.

Or at least that is the way i understood it when mesing with max. I only learned max for the boolean options and now i don't need it anymore.
