Picture frame
Hi there, I am new as a baby to 3D CAT so dont laugh at me. what I wanted to do is the following, a pictureframe to be uploadet to seconflife afterwards. Its easy work just the four sides of the frame tapered and the middle of the frame a bit lower to put on the artwork. So it will give the whole thing a kind of 3D look. But I seem to be too dump to do that right. So if someone is willing to show me in a few words i´d be more then glad.

Re: Picture frame
Start with the sculpted cube object from the library. File > Object Library
Drag the cube to the basic shape of the picture frame you want, adjusting the vertices as needed. If you want the corners sharper, drag the vertices closer to the edge. When you have the shape you want, export as a Normalized Sculpted Prim, then import into SL. |

Re: Picture frame
Here, try this as an example file for a starting-off point. This is a sculpted cube with very sharp corners. (allow it to rez in fully)
