I may have stepped in way over my head but I am willing to learn and I like a challenge. Now with that said I am attempting to make a 3D model of an F-100D aircraft for a mod that is under work for the Targetware Simulation program.
What I am attempting to do is build the fuselage and then have the opening in the front as represented by the picture below. However I don't know if I should follow the fuselage guide that is in the AC3D manual or if there is another way to make this happen. If someone can offer some help I would appreciate it. Many thanks! ![]() |

Start with the manual and just play with it , rough out the shape of it in a generic basic form then add your detail

Also get better reference pictures, itt'll be to hard to model from that one you posted. Maybe try sketching it out before hand to give you a better idea of it's shapes.

Thanks Cowboy. I have several pictures this is just one that I grabbed that showed the air scoop pretty well. I have several dozen in books and even have the basic dimensions of the wings and fuselage. Now I just have to put it on the screen.
