well I hope they can get that boolean mess sorted out. cause its a real pain having a high poly count model with only a few boolean operations. dont get me wrong I like using the boolean but its just messy to messy for me.

The new iteration, I think, will change your mind. It's everything the Boolean always ought to have been.

well I dunno if I will be investing in ac3d 6.1 at least not for awhile.

Maya 8.0 has completly tapped me out of cash.

still I think I can manage around boolean.

note: I know this has nothing to do with ac3d but maya is really worth it. sure its complicated but once you get into it, it is a pretty nice looking program.

6.1 won't cost you any more, if you already have 6.0. AC3D isn't in the habit of charging you for every patch and upgrade. I'd keep current, even if you are going to lay down the cash for Maya.

ooh I didn't spend that much for maya. I found maya cheap around $400 to $1k

I haven't used AC3D since 3.4. I tried 6.0 for a while but the boolean too wasn't quite right. I hope it is right in 6.1...

I hope so as well. boolean certianly is a powerful tool. in any case in ac3d 6.0 boolean is quite messy. still its a great program.
