Hi
Afraid the drop downs for datarefs and commands seem to have stopped working with the new release on Mac. I did the following instructions - no joy. For Mac.. AC3D 8.5: The plugin (.p file) the Tcl/Tk file (.tcl) and your datarefs files need to go into your library folder. The folder is created when AC3D first runs so after starting AC3D once, quit it and navigate a finder window to ~/Library/Application Support/com.inivis.ac3d/plugins Ta |

Are the popup menus not showing at all, or are they blank?

What used to happen was that I could put text in the drop down box then click the drop down triangle to the right and a filtered list would appear - then I selected the one I want. At present no filtered list appears - its like it was prior to the fix on the previous version.

Im having the same trouble. I did not see any folders in Application Support directory so I made them, com.inivis.ac3d/plugins, put all 4 files in the plugins folder and it did not work, no export in menu or x-plane tools in bar, used 3.5b1 plugin. Im running AC3D 8.6.11 on Mac OS-X 11.3.1 M1 Mac Mini...... just tried 3.3plugin and it does not work either...... tried to re install to auto generate the folders and now my license does not work..... OK I fallowed the old instructions where you find all the stuff by "Show Package Contents" and everything works fine now. The "Application Support" method does not work.... for me any way????

The placement of the additional file into the library/appsupport folder was aborted after a problem was found. The instructons on the plugin page (http://www.inivis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7032) were updated at the time.
Best, for now, to put the files into the plugins folder, within the .app. If you are still missing the dataref drop down - let me know. |
