Default Are there Shared Libraries of Machnical and Electronic Parts

Are there Shared Libraries of Mechanical and Electronic Parts Available?

My AC3D models are generally not as artistic as most that I have seen
here on the AC3D galleries, but they are used to show concepts of
mechanical assemblies, machined parts and electronic circuit boards.

I have created most of my models from scratch and or from a few
libraries that I have created. With the many components that could
be used, it would be great if shared libraries/locations were published.

Also, Are there any standards being used for scale and orientation?

Thanks,
Eldon Brown

This is the type of thing I have in mind. This could use a public effort to create
a complete set of usable componets.

Anyone doing this type of work?

Thanks,
Eldon

hi eldonb
I too am using AC3d to produce PCb assembly views using Tsiens Boardmaker PCB design software.
As far as I know there are no shared libraries but it would be a good idea to have one a minimise duplication.
