Some plugins not working in AC3D 8.3.30?

I copied some of the plugins that I had loaded in AC3D 8.0 plugins folder into the AC3D plugins folder, but many of them were rejected when I started up version 8.3.30. The error message says error loading plugin xxxxx (null).

The only ones that I really use are Wave3D, Extrude along path with scaling, Select surfaces with like material.

Can anyone explain why these plugins won't load??
