Undo Cache clear function

In working with some extremely large models ( > 100 Mb ) I need to exit and restart frequently to avoid running out of memory. An option to limit undo depth, or the ability to manually clear the cache would be most welcome.

PS If its already there and I can't find it, its OK to point and laugh ;>)
