Default is there a way to merge vertices through ac3d?

supposedly i cut a part of an object and then i want to reconnect the edges, how is that done on ac3d ? my first thought was probably its done vertex by vertex merge so is it ? and how ?

Default Re: is there a way to merge vertices through ac3d?

If you simply "slice" an edge between two vertices, or use the Knife tool, you don't need to do anything. If you remove a surface described by 3 or more vertices, then you would need to re-create the surface, or snap/merge/weld enough surfaces so that you end up with 2 vertices with an edge between them.

But, to answer your question more directly: Select two or more vertices. Vertex > Snap Together and then [i]immediately thereafter Vertex > Weld.
