Boolean bug
Hello.
When working on a project I use (or try to use the Boolean function). I have used Boolean many times in the past with no problems. But now the boolean thing craps out and crashes my entire computer system. Definitely not very impressed with this. Anyone else having bugs with the boolean function? If so please post, otherwise don't insult my intelligience. This is definitely a bug! Are there any fixes available here anyplace??? Thankx! |

Re: Boolean bug
Yes I have had this problem before. Seems like it happens when the object is too complex. I cant remember exactly though, its been a few months since it did happen

Re: Boolean bug
I have used several 3D packages with boolean functions and if the process is simple (say a hole in a box) it works OK. But, it does seem that the more complcated the results, the less reliable the results. This is true in Silo 3D, Hexagon, Cararra, and AC3D. Basically, the software is trying to figure out what you want and then trying to figure out how to do it.
