Default Deleting a group?

Hello,
In my object hierarchy I have a group with no objects in it and I would like to delete this group. I have not figured out a way to do this yet, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Odd, that shouldn't be possible. Could it be that the group contents have just been collapsed? If not, just randomly right click in a view window and click delete. I have no idea how a group could contain no objects.

Howdy,
What happened was I selected a part and pasted it into a new file with other objects in it. When I moved the object out of the group it was in, the group still remained.

Any ideas?

In "group" mode, select your empty group in the hierarchy window, and then press "delete" on your keyboard (?).
