Default Bug?

I have been having fits with a model. I export it, but then it doesn't show up in my app. Finally, I noticed some weirdness in AC3D.

The model was huge, so I scaled it down. I changed its centers and exported to .X Opening the .X file I saw that the frame transform was identity, but I was still getting the original vertices, unscaled.

Exported to .obj, got the same thing.

What has me confused is that I imported the .obj and it displays fine in AC3D.

It reports a width of 6.38, H = 1.53, and D = 5.48. Yet, if I place my cursor on one point it reports that X = 2.8, y=0, and Z = 299. I don't know how it can be getting a 299 when its reporting W, H, and D substantially smaller. I'm attaching a screenshot.

Notice also that given the position of the cursor (red X) the reported Z value is way out of scale with the X value.

Best,
Byron

EDIT:: NEVER MIND-- I figured it out. The silly model had gotten translated 300 units out on Z, though its origin was at the world origin.
