Is it possible to rotate the 3D view around the selection's center? If not, that would be a very nice new feature.
Cheers, Thierry |

Yes, I select the object, centre it with the F key then deselect and rotate as required.

Thanks, Mossie; I had never thought of that: actually, I was wondering what the F key was for! It seems that the 3D view is somewhat peculiar in this respect: "Look at selection" and "Fit selection" have exactly the same result. This is not the case in the ortho views.
Perhaps the 3D view's menu should be updated? Thanks again, Thierry |

Great feature. I've used AC3D for 4 or 5 years now, and never stumbled on that feature. I can think of a lot of instances when I could use it!!
Thanks, Mossie.
