Default Time Machine

well I've been working with AC3D for a few months now but more or less just messing around with it; nothing really serious. Up until a couple months ago I had to make a picture or some type of model of any object from the book "The Time Machine" by H. G. Wells. Well now with motivation I set out to finish this project of mind. Well this was the out come of several hours of strait work till 5 in the morning.

Simply to say I got an "A". My teacher thought it was amazing she never saw anything like it. Other students were interested in what program I used. I know its not textured just simply colored, didn't have enough time to do anything else. The final model info was: Total objects: 100 surfaces: 20500 vertices: 21720. I don't know if anyone has ever read the book or seen the original movie. I only had images for references cause can't really draw for crap. So what do you guys think? Worthy of a first effort? I sure like the outcome.

This is *outstanding* for a first effort --- it definitely conveys that late-19th century sci-fi era style, and the modeling seems solid. Hope to see more in the future!

aah yes the "Time Machine" that was a good movie. course I think you still have a little more to go on in order to make the model look like the one in the movie.

other than that excellent progress so far mate. keep us posted.

And it isnt far from being exactly like the original time machine (1960) at all.

yeah it's supposed to be a replica of the one from the 1960's movie because that was how it was described in the book. I think I might try texturing it sometime but I might just start something new. Thanks for the replies.
