Default Object property editor

Hey all,
Why, every time I go to use the object property editor, I get this:

Editing object properties

I pick a object, then go to tools/object property editor.
I am confused.

I think I figured it out...
Finally..
I am trying to render in POVray.
When I went and changed some stuff in my file/settings it screwed some stuff up.
Went and changed it to default and now it works.
I now have options in my Object property editor.

Sometimes, the window gets "squished"... the object properties are still there, but the window collapses so that all that's left is the "editing object properties". If you grab the corner and drag, you can see the rest of the dialog.

I'm not certain, but I think it happens when you minimize AC3D to go to another program.
