Weld Vertices?

If you realy want to weld two vertices, both vertices must be in the same object.

Then you have two alternatives:

1. Select both vertices and press ctrl + t

2. Select an object, go to vertice-mode. Menu vertice select snap by distance. Go change to object-select mode. Menu object "optimize vertices"
