Default "old" licenses

Hello Andi,

I have purchased AC3D years ago and the license stated, that it would be applicable for all future versions of AC3D.
Can I use it to download AC3D 5.0?

Sincerely, ppi

It depends when you bought AC3D. It it really was 'years ago' then it's likely you'll require a new license.

At 4.0, all old license holders had to buy a new "upgrade" license. I've held a license for a while and when I want to upgrade, I'll need to upgrade (or out and out buy a new one.. skipped 4.0 lol) my license. I had a slight "awww.." when Andy changed up the licensing for 4.0 but the reality of it is he can't keep ignoring potential revenue of upgrades (not to expensive ones, btw can't complain on the price) on such a great product. I quite understand he couldn't give free upgrades forever.

I am one of those "years ago" folks, too.
