Default I'm a newbie and I need help importing kex files?

I am new to AC3D and new to the the world of 3D. I purchaced ClearView (a RC aircraft simulator program) which is a RC Planes & helicopters training and practise, now with cars, gliders and water take off & landings. With AC3D according to other pilots, it is the best there is for making RC aircraft for ClearView. I see there is a explination of how to convert FMS to ClearView. Now I am looking for a way to convert Knife Edge - Real Flight models to ClearView. The file that I'm trying to get into is the kex file. Any ideas or solutions?

The Kex file is a proprietary 3d format that only can be imported to Realflight program, It is a one way conversion from 3ds to Kex, It cant be reversed to a 3d object. Knife edge has a user/works upload content section, that has many planes, maybe one of the authors would be willing to share a original 3ds file prior to the kex conversion.
