Default Increasing 3D Anti Aliasing?

I recently upgraded my computer and have noticed that my 3D view does not look nearly as smooth when I turn on AA as it did on my old computer. I've looked around and can't seem to find a setting to turn up the AA strength.

As is, the AA version doesn't look very different at all from the non-AA view, so I would really like to get that turned back up to make nice looking screens right from AC3D.

The level of AA is fixed but perhaps it's not working.

Some graphics card drivers can override the settings although, those settings usually force AA on (which can cause problems with AC3D's selection mechanism).

Have a look at the settings for your graphics card and see if there's anything that can be adjusted.

Nothing that I can find right off seems to be causing it.

I'm running a pair of AMD 6670's. I normally use nVidia but thats what came with this new tower and I haven't had a pressing need to replace them yet. Their interface seems rather... ahem... "lacking" compared to nVidia's.

I can't really tell if its interfering or not, I can't find any damned useful setting information on them.

I don't know if I should blame the cards for that, or this crappy Windows 8.

Best I can say at the moment is that my drivers are up to date.

Well, correction, WINDOWS says I have all up to date drivers. I'll go manually download and install the latest driver straight from AMD.

Nope, I manually installed the latest drivers, still no love.

Anybody got a suggestion?

You could try an earlier driver version. Sometimes the latest ones introduce bugs.

Got a new video card coming in. I'm thinking its something about the crossfire configuration of the ones I've got, as its messing with some of my games as well. So screw it, going back to single card.

Oh yeah, got the new video card installed and the AA is much improved.

Remind me never to use an AMD card ever again.
