Hi there. Again, I used the cylindrical template and had to make sure the top and bottom hole were preserved, and that NO parts of the shape overlapped. But also I wasn't able to use the Bevel and Indent tools at all ... I used Spike (+ & - values) instead, and checked the UV map each time I used it to make sure it was still intact. Good luck!

Yes anytime I used cut or combine tools I would run into this and couldn't fix it. I haven't tried spikes but if I keep to simple tools to shape I get good results. I've also used extrude fairly well without any problems.
