Default Is there a better .lwo plugin?

Hi, all
I have been trying to import .lwo (Lightwave) files into ac3d in Linux (Fedora 17 to be exact), but every time I try, I get this error message "Error loading LWO file (0 at byte 12)". The plugin is installed and running.

Also, I tried exporting a .ac to a Lightwave using the built-in plugin, but I get the same error when I try to import those.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Quick answer: yes, there is.
I contacted Inivis, and Andy got back to me with these plugins:
www.inivis.com/external/lwopluginslx.tgz

They work most of the time; the importer can import untextured .lwo models, which is a huge step up from nothing.
The exporter also seems to work (at least as well as the importer.)
