Default Stargate like model wip

Havent had much time to model lately. The bathroom have taken almost all my time, but now i'm finished so I can enjoy myself with some small simple fun like this Stargate like portal. I'm not finished with the details yet so more to come later

Ah, *very* nice with lighting and textures --- can't wait to see this in a completed scene.

that looks great. I like the way the ring looks with the greeble. but my favorite thing about this project is that the way how you make the wires look life like.

Damn, I was hoping I could finish texturing the gate this weekend. But it takes more time doing a nice texturing than modeling the damn thing But I'm getting there. Here is a lill' update. Made some changes in the textures. Wasent that pleased with some of them. Bellow are the one I use in AC3D. The original is 5000 pixels wide, and a little bit slugish to work with, but at 500 pixels wide its a blast
