Default Relative and absolute paths

I didn't find any way to say AC3D which kind of path (relative or absolute) must be written in its files.
I share data with other people and everybody got the same folder hierarchy for our project, but not necessary from the same root. Using relative paths would make us able to share our models without any problem.

Is there any way to do so ?

Thanks.

I assume you mean AC3D files with textures?

If the texture file exists in the same folder, as the AC3D file is being written to, it will write just the texture filename.

Also, if there's a subdirectory called textures/ and the texture file is in there, it will write just the texture filename.

If the texture is anywhere else, the AC3D file will contain an absolute texture path.
