Default Newbie question: creating a vertex

I'm just getting started with ac3d, so apologies for some stupid/simple questions.

How can you create a vertex with particular/specified coordinates?

Default Re: Newbie question: creating a vertex

You'll need to make a line (poly or poly line will also be fine) and only click one point (left mouse button), then click the right mouse button to end. This will make an object containing a single surface with one vertex. You'll probably want to remove the surface(Surface->remove-surface-only) to just leave the single vertex.

This is actually quite an unusual thing to do in AC3D (since vertices are usually parts of surfaces). If this vertex is part of a larger model that you are making, let us know here and we should be able to help further.

To reposition the vertex, use the Move-to fields on the left in the control panel.
